When I saw this fiery, floral crop top I just knew I had to have it. Bold and beautiful, this shirt is the perfect statement piece. Worn together with a pair of my favorite jeans and my Sam Edelman sandals I feel chic with a touch of bohemian vibes.
The jeans I am currently wearing are from the store Cotton On. I am obsessed with their bottoms because they are very form fitting. Sometimes it is hard find a pair of jeans that flatter my shape. (Jean shopping is definitely a bit stressful sometimes ;)).
My shoes are a pair of dark orange Sam Edelman sandals which I purchased at Nordstrom Rack. I love detailing, whether it is on shoes or clothes and the diamond-shaped silver pins immediately drew my attention. The fact that they are super soft and comfortable to walk in sealed the deal. They were mine for the taking. On my wrist I am wearing an assortment of multi-colored bangles. I purchased these at Forever 21. The choker around my neck is a dark brown and was purchased at h&m.
I added a thin gold chain around my waist to give my waist a bit of glitz.

Happy Saturday loves and welcome to summer! Four days in and I am already feeling the heat. Today, I wanted to share one of my favorite outfits.
This cute two-piece outfit is perfect for summer. The lightweight fabric is very breathable, and the design reminds me of a tropical island. Two piece outfits are a wonderful addition to your closet because one, you don’t have to search for a matching top or bottom, the combination is already perfect for the regular day to day, and second, you can most definitely mix and match both pieces. I love to wear the top with a pair of jeans and the bottoms with a cute t-shirt.
My accessories are minimal but still bright enough to give my look a pop of color.
My hat is from a small boutique store near my house. I have seen many similar hats in stores such as Target and Marshals, so finding one should not be too hard, as they are quite stylish.
My shoes are Sam Edelman’s from Nordstrom. I love the glittery look. It compliments the look without taking away from the outfit.
My green and gold bracelet is from Fossil. I purchased this bracelet a few years ago, when I instantly fell in love with it. I love it because I can match it with various clothing that I have. The red and brown one came as a pair from the Fashion District in downtown LA. These were purchased a few years ago as well.
The top is about an inch longer in the back and shorter in the front. The shorts are high waisted, which are my favorite style. Both pieces are loose, but still fitted in all the right places, giving your figure the appropriate curves. This two-piece is from Romwe.com.

This season has definitely been on the wet side, and although I love rain, I have been missing the warm sunny days characteristic of California. Somehow I feel most productive when the sun is shining and the birds are singing. Amid that, I miss wearing summer dresses. Having purchased this particular dress (Crisscross-Back Hollow Out Lace Up Dress) a few months ago, I have been dying to wear it out. And finally the day came. It was in the high seventies and I told myself, today is the day.
I purchased this dress on a website called Romwe.com and although I am usually very skeptical about buying clothing online, (I like to try it on first and make sure it fits), I decided to give it a go. To my delight, all the items I purchased were perfect. Not only were they inexpensive, this dress was only US $16.41, but they arrived fairly quickly, within a month. This dress is on the shorter side, but very comfortable with a back zipper and halter spaghetti straps that tie together mid back. The fabric is made out of cotton blends, therefore perfect for warm, summer days.
What caught my attention about this dress was the detailing. The section at the waist is embroidered with pink flowers circling the waist. Along the front and the back of the dress the flowers are intricately woven on, portraying a very soft and feminine look. The dress is a pastel pink and I wasn’t sure if it would stay warm for the duration of the day, so I layered it with my washed out YMI denim jacket. For shoes, I wore a pair of grey suede Via Spiga sandals (www.viaspiga.com). I decided to keep it simple with accessories, wearing a pair of golden hoop earrings with pastel beads attached to them, and a light-colored bracelet, both of which I purchased at Claire’s (www.claires.com), an accessory store usually found in shopping malls here in California.
I highly recommend Romwe.com for cute, well made pieces. Let me know what favorite online stores you have in the comments below! I would love to chat. Have a lovely weekend! XOXOXOXOXOXO

Happy Saturday Beauties!
With the hustle and bustle of going back to school after the holidays, finding what to wear can be daunting. Having at least one versatile piece in your closet will be a lifesaver on those days when you want to look cute, but have limited time. I found my current go-to piece, is a black half turtleneck long sleeve. It can be dressed up or down, during the day, or for an evening out with some pumps and cute jeans. Here are three of my favorite looks I put together. I hope you enjoy them!
Skirt: Charlotte Russe
Shoes: Cole Haan Booties/ Nordstrom
Purse: Innue/ Marshall’s
Black half turtleneck: H&M
Shoes:14th & Union/Nordstrom
Knee high socks: H&M
High waisted jeans: Forever 21
Flats: Tory Burch/Nordstrom
Hey there beauties,
Hope everyone is staying warm this winter season. With the holidays almost finished, I have been feeling a sense of exhaustion. From all the hustle and bustle starting with Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Eve just around the corner, I have found very little time to relax and unwind. This led me to feel unorganized, exhausted and a tad bit cranky. After a certain point I realized I need to slow down if I want to continue being proactive.
I realized relaxing doesn’t mean an extravagant vacation somewhere. Sometimes, it is the simple things in life that bring the most joy. For example I love reading. But lately I feel I rarely have the time to sit and enjoy a book. So I decided to set a block of time in the evening, about 45 minutes to an hour to read. I burn some of my favorite candles to set the mood, turn on some low lights, dress in my most comfortable clothes and sit back with my favorite hot beverage (usually hot chocolate or a chai latte if I really want to spoil myself). These moments of “me” time allow me to forget the stresses of everyday and simply enjoy the moment of peace.
It is worth taking the time to relax and unwind. You will feel better and full of energy. Here is a list of some of my favorite things. I have also included the link to similar options, as the ones I have were purchased months ago and probably are no longer in stock.
50-Light Clear String-to-String Lights on White Wire from Home Depot
Woolen socks are from H&M but I found similar ones on Amazon.com
My mug was from TJ Max but there are a few on Amazon.com as well. Much pricier than mine, at $23 but I suggest going to TJ Max, they always have a ton of cute mugs.
My blanket is from Bed Bath and Beyond. It is two sided and I love the fluffy white side. They are about $39.99 each.
There is just something refreshing about the spring season, the blossoms perfuming the air, the bright colors everywhere, and the warm beautiful weather. I don’t know about you gals, but it makes me want to strip of all the heavy winter clothes and put on some sandals and pretty dresses. But that also means going lighter on the make-up and nail color. Less of the darker, wintery colors and more of the brighter, fun colors. I found the perfect color from OPI. It is called Dutch Tulips and it brings out a pop of color yet is soft enough for the average spring day. I also love this color because it is very feminine. Try it out and comment down below, I would love to hear your thoughts! Have a great day beauties!!!
